It's 1:12 in the morning, and I'm still awake. I have to get up in a couple of hours for work, but I'm still lagging. I knew that signature hot chocolate from Starbucks wasn't a good idea for lunch. Yet, how could I resist? It was that weather-just-perfect-for-hot-chocolate kind of day today.
My trip to Vancouver was great. I instantly fell in love when the plane touched down — and I couldn't even see the mountains! My first two days were spent shopping (then feeling guilty and returning) and visiting VFS. I recently decided to go back to school and am determined to go to VFS. Saturday was spent all day with Isabel, walking around her adorable neighbourhood and spending hours talking about everything in the local coffee shop. The London dream still lives!
Saturday night was a reunion I didn't think would happen for a while... my best friend from 3rd grade and I met up for dinner. We haven't seen each other since I moved from Dubai, and she happens to be studying at UBC. It was great — it was like those fifteen years never passed (well, conversation wise anyway).
The minutes pass and I inch closer to full fledged realization that I'm not going to be a happy camper when I wake up. The day will make up for it though, since I finally get to see my best friend Ash after so many months. We've both been so busy that even though I've been back for two months, we still haven't seen each other. Anyway, she's taking me to see Sound of Music, and we're both excited.

I need to end this entry... or I'll go on forever.
But I think my best purchase of the day had to be Interview magazine.
With both Tom Sturridge and Joe Wright in the issue, it was made for me.
